Bubbly Facial Bar started with a very real problem: my skin was stressed… because I was.
After earning four science degrees and spending 18 years in fast-paced healthcare, burnout didn’t just show up in my calendar—it showed up on my face. Constant breakouts, inflammation, and skin insecurity became my not-so-cute side effect of a high-stress career.
I eventually found my way to clearer skin—but not without spending way too much money, time, and trial-and-error along the way. That’s when it clicked: why was effective skincare so complicated, intimidating, and expensive?
So I did what made sense. I combined my love for business, my scientific background, and my healthcare experience to create Bubbly Facial Bar—a space where skincare is effective, affordable, and actually approachable.
And we didn’t stop there.
Turns out, when you simplify skincare for everyone,

How Bubbly became… well, bubbly
Bubbly Facial Bar didn’t start as a “one day” idea—it started as a why is skincare so hard and so expensive?
After four science degrees and 18 years in high-stress healthcare, burnout wasn’t just a feeling—it was living rent-free on my face. Clear skin eventually came, but only after an overwhelming, expensive journey that made one thing painfully obvious: there had to be a better way.
so we built it
In April 2023, we found the perfect space in Meridian and did what any slightly unhinged but very determined team would do—we went all in. All hands on deck. Long days, late nights, a whole lot of vision, and just enough caffeine to make it happen. By September 2023, Bubbly Facial Bar officially opened its doors.
And then… the Treasure Valley showed up.

Bubbly quickly became one of the fastest-growing businesses in the area, serving over 6,000 clients by the end of 2025. Turns out people were craving effective skincare that didn’t feel intimidating, overpriced, or lonely.
Just two years after opening our first location, we expanded—bringing Bubbly to Indian Creek Plaza in downtown Caldwell in September 2025. Because creating community within a community is kind of our thing.
and now?
Today, we’re proud to serve a growing client family, including 250+ Bubbly Club members who’ve turned skincare into a regular ritual—and turned facials into a social thing. We love seeing friend groups gather, glow together, and make skincare part of their lives.
With a third location on the way, we’re rounding out the Treasure Valley—touching all corners of this beautiful area and bringing effective, affordable, social skincare to more people who may not have realized that kind of experience was even possible.

OWNER & FOUNDER
Meet Alicia — the brains, heart, and slightly unhinged dedication behind Bubbly Facial Bar.
She’s a 12x certified permanent makeup artist, paramedical camouflage expert, tiny tattooist, and licensed esthetician with 18 years in the medical field. Translation: she really knows skin.
A lifelong entrepreneur, Alicia has been building businesses since childhood and has grown multiple six-figure companies by blending science, skincare, and a genuine love for people — which is exactly how Bubbly was born.
Originally from Maine, she spent years in Kentucky before moving west in 2020 for mountains, fresh air, and a more aligned lifestyle. Idaho — and the Treasure Valley — quickly became home.
Alicia believes skincare should be effective, affordable, and fun — never intimidating. She created Bubbly to make self-care more accessible, confidence more attainable, and the entire experience welcoming from check-in to check out.
When she’s not building the Bubbly brand, you’ll find her on the trails, in the gym rediscovering her love for lifting, cuddled up with her two dogs, spending time with her husband, or sharing the best of Boise online.

Hi, I’m Monica! While I’m not a Boise native, I moved here as a kid and have had the pleasure of growing up in the Treasure Valley. I come from a background in both healthcare and marketing, which means I’m passionate about creating smooth systems, meaningful client experiences, and a strong brand across all of our locations.
My job as the Area Director is all about supporting our team, streamlining operations, and making sure every visit to the facial bar feels like the best part of your day. I’ve always been a skincare and makeup junkie so the opportunity to combine all of my marketing and operations experience with something like making people feel good in their skin is a dream come true.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me on a golf course, trying a new restaurant, traveling the world, working out, soaking up the sunshine on my paddleboard, reading on my kindle, or simply hanging out with my husband and our dog (my first born).

Hi! I'm Kendall, the Lead Administrative Esthetician at Bubbly Facial Bar Meridian. I've been in Boise for 20 years, but I was born in Salem, Massachusetts—yes, the place with the witches! I love creating the perfect skincare concoctions to help clients feel amazing in their skin.
When I'm not at the facial bar, you can find me playing board games, tackling escape rooms, traveling, or working out. I'm excited to connect and help you achieve your best skin!

I'm Kristin and I'm originally from upstate New York. I've lived in Nampa for 16 years. I went to Premiere Aesthetics in Meridian and have been an esthetician for over a year now. I love helping people feel amazing and relaxed.
Anti-aging is fun for me, but I love everything in esthetics. I love that Bubbly offers amazing services at great prices and makes everyone feel welcome. My 3 favorite products are cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen. I love being with my 3 kids and husband. We love camping and doing mini getaways or just hanging out and relaxing.

Hi! I'm Alicia. I was born and raised in Idaho! I studied Esthetics at Oliver Finley and have been in the industry now for about a year! My favorite part about being an esthetician is helping my clients feel comfortable in their skin! I love being a part of the bubbly team and creating an inclusive environment where all feel welcomed! One product I will ALWAYS recommend for you to help hydrate your skin is hyaluronic acid.
When I'm not at Bubbly, I love to spend time with my husband and our sweet dog Opal. I love anything outdoors - camping, water activities, and snowboarding.
